Postal Service Palace

Built between 1936-38 by the architect Alberto Alpago-Novello in an area that was the original site of the city castle for a thousand years. As time went by during the Venetian era this castle was progressively abandoned and completely knocked down after 1806 and substituted with a prison. The remains can be seen in the garden.
